Research on Wavelet Transform and Its Application to Image Processing

摘要

The focus of this paper is on the introduction of the basic theory of wavelet transform and inverse wavelet transform, analyzing the wavelet transform and inverse wavelet transform algorithm, discussing wavelet transform’s application to image processing, doing some useful try on image enhancing, image reconstruction, image segmenting. The results show that using wavelet transform to process digital image can obtain satisfying effect, many image processing work can be attained by wavelet transform efficiently. Wavelet transform technology can be used widely in the field of image processing and already become an efficient tool for image processing nowadays.
