Composite decking is now considered to be in its second generation of evolution based on the advances in co-extruded capstock technologies over the past 5 years. In this presentation we will review the performance drivers that spurred this development, the current state of technologies used to achieve the protective layer, and the resulting growing market share of capped composites.
