To evaluate possible ecological hazard uponfiring large solid propellant charges, it is necessaryto develop physico-mathematical model describingformation and evolution of the combustion cloud.The problem is very complicated due to a number ofinterconnected physical and chemical processes,which are not specified yet in detail and could notbe described in terms of pure theory. Therefore, atpresent time experimental information has to bemostly used in formulation of the phenomenologicalmodel. The goal of this paper is to present data onvisualization of the combustion cloud formation andpropagation upon ground testing large solid motorsand develop semi-empirical description of theaerosol particles evolution in the combustion cloud.
