The system which scans and inspect surface of asolar array coupon panel automatically wasdeveloped. This system is composed of an opticalmicroscope, traverse equipment, a personalcomputer and a picture acquisition board. Thissystem can acquire the microscope photograph withhigh magnification and observe from a slant angle.Detail scan of a solar array was carried out beforeand after plasma experiment. Dust particles werediscovered at several arc locations.
