PARTNERSHIP-BASED COLLABORATIVE KNOWLEDGE CREATION- ANANALYSIS OF RESOURCE SHARING ARRANGEMENTS

Collaborative knowledge creation is being pursued by organizations as a cost-effective way tocreate knowledge. In this article we modeled the collaboration as an Eliashberg bargaining gamein order to aid in determining a viable resource sharing strategy. We analyzed the equilibriumvalues of the effort in knowledge creation, the resource participation rate and the total systemgain and generated propositions. These propositions have implications for partner selection andrenegotiation.
