摘要

The purpose of this paper was to point out the absolute necessity of the involvement of the potential user of theapplication or system under development. The user of a system can not merely be an after thought and then beblamed when the system fails. Many catastrophic events have occurred and have been ?chalked up? to humanerror. We need to strive to cut down on that human error in the design phase of an application. Due to the factthat in this day any age, everyone uses computers, not just scientists, the human interaction must be consideredmust be considered early on in the design, and throughout the development lifecycle.
