摘要

The lately operation of single junction (SJ) GaAs solar cells inside non-imaging concentrators claims for a goodunderstanding of the internal design parameters of the solar cells. All optic concentrators have their own illumination profile over the receiver (solar cells) and this fact may cause some deviations in the proper electrical performance. The purpose of this work is the analysis of the real driving key figures for an optimum performance of SJ GaAs solar cells and its impact under different scenarios. A theoretical model proposed has been used for two optic concentrators RXI and TIR-R. Finally, a validation of the theoretical model has been carried out by means of real measurements in outdoor conditions of a SJ GaAs solar cell under tilted light.
