Since 1957, APICS has been the leading organization providing education and offering an international forum to share ideas on production, inventory management, and integrated resource management. The majority of the body of knowledge developed and disseminated during APICS’ tenure has focused on supply chain management—the activities associated with adding value by moving product from suppliers to customers.
