Interval Pressure Transient Testing (IPTT) along the wellbore using multi-probe and/or packer-probe formation testers provides dynamic permeability and anisotropy information with increased vertical resolution along the wellbore. Currently, each IPTT is analyzed individually and overlapping tests require iterations for the layers common to each test. Incorporating long term (conventional) tests and existing pressure vs depth data in the analysis is not common.In this paper we present a methodology to analyze several formation tester interval pressure transient tests together. If available, extended well test data and existing pressure gradients between layers can also be incorporated in the analysis. The workflow covers data preparation and conditioning, gridding, property population and numerical simulation/optimization. These steps are perfomed with relative ease without advanced simulation experience. This approach provides significant timesavings for the analysis of multiple IPTT tests. The end result is a model which honors dynamic data, ready to study alternative completion and production scenarios.
