Flow matching is one of the key issues in specific flows based traffic measurement. In this paper, we present an improved algorithm based on RFC algorithm, namely Multi-Phase Non-Collision Merge (MPNCM) flow matching algorithm, which performs the mask matching by marker-bucket and range-matching by minimum range splitting. It deploys the early discarding packet policy. Our test results show that its matching speed is up to 2Mpps and the amount of memory is under control.
