ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM FOR STUDENT BODY ELECTION

Most of the countries all around the world are trying to use Evoting/Online voting system. But these countries are struggling with some of the major issues like needing to keep physical records for checking, digital divide, security concerns, and the trust and awareness among the general public. We strongly believe that we should educate our students about Evoting/online voting, make them familiar with Evoting/online voting, and make them experience Evoting/online voting. It should be noted that we are training the citizens (students) so that they can be ready for future changes in the voting system at a higher level. We developed an online voting system for student body election in North Dakota State University. We helped Student Court to successfully conduct the student body election past three years since 2002. In the process, we also addressed some of the major issues in conducting an online election.
