摘要

Today, the deposition of coated conductors on a variety ofsubstrates is often performed using a vacuum or low pressure basedtechnique. However, obtaining uninterrupted deposition at high speed,increasing flexibility in composition and attaining independence ofgeometric constraints are areas in which vacuum techniques will needsustained development in order to answer industrial demands. Thedevelopment of the next generation of deposition methods, based ondeposition under atmospheric environment and from aqueous precursorsolutions is a real challenge. This work describes the deposition oftextured CeO2 buffer layers and REBa2Cu3Oy superconducting layersbased on sol-gel dip-coating of an aqueous solution on ceramic andmetallic substrates.
