This paper discusses the availability of jukebox system to the storage system for a high performance out-of-core computation with large-scale arrays, including irregular accesses to the array. We propose the modified inspector/executor method and preload method for irregular write and irregular read, respectively. The preliminary evaluation shows that the modified inspector/executor method can hide most of disk change time and achieve up to 90% of ideal access time. Moreover the amount of the buffer area can be reduced by sharing buffer portions with disks.
