Heat treatment is the most critical process for the generation of microstructure and mechanical property of nickel base superalloys. Computer simulation of the quenching process of FGH95 powder metallurgy superalloy was evaluated with the aim to predict the mechanical property for the alloys and direct the practice works. By analyzed the relationship between the mechanical property of superalloy disks and the cooling rate of quenching, this paper established the basic technology of computer simulation of the quenching process for FGH95 powder metallurgy (P/M) superalloy disks, which can predict the microstructure and property for the alloy. The technology makes it possible to precisely control the quality of quenched FGH95 parts and to increase their service reliability.
