Particle size distribution is particularly interesting for dry powder inhalation formulations. In this work it was obtained by laser diffractometry, for sodium cromoglycate (as model drug), lactose (Granulac 220) (as excipient) and their 1:1 and 25:75 mixtures. The ratio of drug:carrier may influence the respirable fraction.
