LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT PROTAMINE AS A POSSIBLE NONTOXIC GENE DELEVERY CARRIER

摘要

Low molecular weight protamine (LMWP), a possible nontoxic substitute for protamine, has been fabricated and evaluated for its potential as a gene carrier. The cell trafficking capacity, complex forming ability with DNA, DNase protection, and potential for gene expression of the LMWP have been examined in vitro.
