CHALLENGES OF CHANGE -HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENT A LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The presentation will discuss the measures and methods which lead an organization through process of change. This will be illustrated by project experiences of a Learning Management System introduction. Involving every member of the concerned organisational unit as well as the critical reflect ion on the legacy work processes are essential for a successful integration. If customer-orientation and effectiveness can be improved then the change will have a positive effect because it is shared by all stakeholders. In the longer term the achieved benefits and generated synergies will decide whether eLearning will move beyond a pilot phase and successfully integrated into the daily work.
