摘要

In this research, we examine the health care vs. non-health care settings to investigate the relationships between organizational adoption and extent of use of a variety of programs which have recently received attention as potential vehicles for enhancing organizational competitiveness. Specifically, we consider Quality Management (QM) programs, traditional Information Systems (TIS), as well as two newly-recognized types of IS, E-Commerce (E-C) and Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) in two somewhat different organizational settings - health care and non-health care.
