摘要

The effect of differential diffusion of hydrogen in turbulent reacting flow is investigated inthis work. Calculations of well defined diffusion flames are compared with detailedmeasurements. The turbulent reacting flow is modelled using k-ε-model for turbulence andEDC for turbulent combustion in conjunction with detailed chemistry from GRI-Mech 2.11.Differential diffusion is treated in terms of an equivalent Fickian diffusion coefficient. Theresults show an effect of differential diffusion in the diffusion flames which generally is inaccordance with the measured observations. To illustrate the potential of the models,combustion of syn-gas from bio-mass in a secondary chamber is simulated.
