PRODUCT CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT BASED ON RECONFIGURABLE PRODUCT STRUCTURE MODEL

Reconfigurable Manufacture is a new kind of manufacture theory that is developing along with the development of theories and technologies of manufacture. Its goal is to increase productivity, product quality and reduce manufacturing cost. In this paper, we will design a product structure model based on reconfigurable thought. Based on this model, we have implemented an application of Product Configuration Management (PCM) which helps reduce the design period of products greatly and improve product qualities a lot
