38 mineral oil were separated from oil N_(68) (68mm~2/s,40°C) and N_(10) (10mm~2/s,40°C) using actuate boiling point distillation, reducing pressure distribution distillation and claisen distillation. Effects of all 38 mineral oil concentrates (MOCs, consisting of 83% (w/w)oil and 17%(w/w) emulsifier) on nicosulfuron were sdudied in laboratory for the control of green foxtail (Setaria viridis(L.)Beauv.) and lobedleaf (Pharbitis nil(L.)Choisy). All MOCs enhanced nicosulfuron activity, but the level of enhancement was different due to the C-chain length and boiling range of the mineral oil. The MOCs with length of 22-33C and boiling range of 314-450°Cwere most effective for the control of green foxtail(Setaria viridis(L.)Beauv.).That of 16-30C, 268-428°C were most effective for the control of lobedleaf(Pharbitis nil(L.) Choisy).
