Dredged Material Management Guidance

A wealth of information has appeared recently relating to the environmental aspects of dredging and the management of dredged material. IADC, CEDA and PIANC have been instrumental in filling the knowledge gaps under these headings. However, within this plethora of information there is intentional overlap between separate publications and, for those unfamiliar with them, it is difficult to gauge the relevance of each publication in a specific set of circumstances. The objective of this paper is to set out how the various publications relate to one another, to examine the framework in which they sit and to give a flavour of the content of each one, in the South East Asian context.
