摘要

In the analysis of the bifurcation in a practical system, reducing the dimension of its mathematical model based on the center manifold theorem is the first problem to be solved. For this purpose a computer programme is presented for computing the center manifold of ordinary differential equations. The short programme by a symbolic computer language Maple can be used to arbitrary systems. Its efficiency is shown by several examples.
