In this report, the incremental transfer stiffness coefficient method, which can compute the periodic steady- state vibration generated in large scale nonlinear systems with huge degrees of freedom, is formulated to analyze the longitudinal, flexural and torsional coupled vibration of a three dimensional tree structure supported by nonlinear base support elements. In addition, the method of stability analysis using reduction model is applied to the stability analysis for a periodic steady-state solution obtained for three dimensional tree structures. The validity of the incremental transfer stiffness coefficient method and the method of stability analysis using reduction model for three dimensional tree structures is confirmed by the numerical computation results.
