摘要

IEEE P1451 is the proposed standard for interfacing sensors and actuators to the digital world of micro-controlelrs, processors and networks. The goal of this standard is to reduce the complexities designers face in establishing digital communication with transducers and actuators. IEEE P1451 defines the bus architecture, addressing protocols, wiring, calibration and error correction thus enabling a building block approach to system design with plug-and-play modules. System Integrators, Instrument Developers, Engineer or End Users can simply plug their IEEE P1451 compliant sensors and actuators together with measurement and communication modules to form a measurement system that allows transducers to interface directly to established networks and control systems.
