摘要

In this paper, a mathematic model including space harmonic waves is given with 2-D magnetic field and electric circuit coupled method. The iron losses in teh stator and the rotor are calcualated. The additional copper losses in the rotor windings are computed. The loses are caused by non-sine wave amgnetic motive force of wndings and non-even magnetic conductance in the airgap with stator and rotor slots The effections of magnetic slot wedge in stator on motor characteristics are analyzed. The available design data of magnetic slot wedge wre discussed. The theoretic analysis is verified by the test results of two high-voltage induction motors.
