Full Scale Measurements and Mathematical Modelling Studies for the Investigation of the Combustion Behaviour of a Modern Bituminous Coal-Fired Boiler

摘要

This paper shows the results of an extensive maasurement campaign carried out in a 730 MW_th bituminous coal fired utility boiler. The boiler commissioned in 1997 has an LCS-T-firing system and is equipped with iternally air-staged low-NOx burners. The main objective of the project was to investigate the combustion behaviour of two different coals under full load conditions. A middle and a high volatile bituminous coal was used during the campaingn.
