1. The PTC property of PE/CB composite is different with the structure of CB and its content. The PTC intensity of PE/5# CB composite is maximum at the percolation threshold. 2 The three reasons led to the composite exhibit PTC property or NTC property at last. 3 Cross-linking is the effective way to eliminate the NTC phenomenon especially irradiation cross-linking. The optimum intensity of irradiation cross-linking is more than 8 Mrad.
