Preliminary design of a mox fresh fuel shipping package

Packaging Technology, Inc. is a parrticipant in the Duke. CoGEMA, Stone and Webster consortium tasked with providing mixed oxide (MOX) fuel fabrication and reactor irradiation serivices to the Departmtn of Energy for the purpose of disposing of surplus weapons-grade plutonium. PacTec is responsible for development and licensing of a new MOX fresh fuel shipping package. Currently, no such package is licensed for use within the United States.
