A new procedure for preparing nano-metal catalysts was developed which is pollution free to he environment. In this process the active components of the nano-metal catalysts were prepared by hydrogen arc plasma method. The active components (nanometer metal particles) then were put on the support to make supported catalysts by a physical method. The results of application of the nano-metal supported catalyst (for example Pd/Al2O3) in oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide show that the nano-metal supported catalyst possesses superior catalytic properties comparing with conventional catalyst made by chemical method.
