摘要

Gas holdup and its profile are important parameters to be characterized in bubble column reactors. Proper prediction of the radial gas holdup profiles is necessawry of determining liquid mixing, flow regime transition,heat and mass transfer. In this study, for a first time correlations are proposed to predict gas hold up profile. The agreement between the correlation predictions and experimetnal data is well over wide range of operating conditions.
