A fast and simple high-performanc esize-exclusion chromatogrpahic method (HPSEC) has been developed for the analysis of active bovine serum albumin (BSA) to characterize in-vitro release of BSA-loaded microspheres using a Zorbax Bio Series GF-250 column (4.6x250mm) and a UV detector. The HPSEC conditions were optimized. The mobiel phase was PBS (0.01 mol/l di-sodium phosphate, 0.002 mol/l potassium di-hydrogen phosphate, 0.14 mol/l sodium chloride, 0.003 mol/l potassium chloride and pH 7.0), and the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. Under the optimized conditions, the coefficient of variation (C.V) was lower than 1.4
