In this study, the characteristics of humidity control using the activated carbon are discussed in order to construct the humidity control system without electric power. The characteristics of water vapor adsorption and desorption were investigated by using the activated carbon bed and a concrete lump included the activated carbon. Instead of humid air, nitrogen gas included water vapor flowed into the bed or around the lump at a rate of 200 ml/min. The temperatures of the bed and lump were constant at 303K. The humidity in the gas was 50-70
