By analyzing the process of chaotic search, we propose improved chaos optimization algorithm (ICOA), which combines COA with linear search. It can speed the local rate of convergence and improve the accuracy of solution, at the same time it has high reliability. And ICOA is combined with exact non-differentiable penalty function to solve nonlinear constraint optimization problems.
