Study on Construction and Sanitary Effect of 'Six-in-one Toilet' in Mancheng County of North China

300 'Six-function Toilets' were constructed in zhongdian village of Mancheng county, Heibei province which consists of toilet, shower, pigsty, hen house, biogas digester and domestic sewage. 100 of 300 houses installed porcelaneous urinal and solar energy water heater on the toilet roof. The 'Six-function Toilets' are running successfully by the two years' observation. Results of sanitary guide line in this study indicated that kill rate of bellyworm eggs, in outlet of biogas digester is 99.9%; the removal rate of COD and BOD were 87.3% and 90.4%, respectively. When temperature outside of digester is -12°C～10°C in the winter, temperature inside of digester is 10°C～12°C, 1.5～2m~3 of gas are produced in the winter, and 2-4 m~3 are produced in summer. It need not change the raw material as long as digester running in going order. It is a cost-effective and feasible way for domestic sewage treatment and dejectainnocent treatment and welcomed by the local farmers.
