CHEMICAL STRUCTURE OF CARBONACEOUS MATERIALS. INFLUENCE ON THE ADSORPTION OF CO_2 AND WATER VAPOUR

摘要

The adsorption isotherms measured for CO_2 at 273 K and water vapour at 293 K are compared, allowing for the chemical structure of a number of carbon blacks and another series of activated carbons, ft is shown a good correlation between the chemical constitution and structure of the carbons and their adsorption behaviour toward CO_2 and water vapour.
