On the Trenods of Restructuring of China's Steel Industry Beyond 2000

摘要

China's steel industry has made significant progress in the past tow decades. and has been the first leading steel producer in the world since 1996. But still. the steel production could not fully meet the demand for steel products in domestic market. and the competitiveness of China's steel industry is not strong enough as comprared to the steel industry in industrialized countries. The restructuring will be a must for China's steel industry. This paper describes the concept and trends of reconstructuring of China's steel industry in the 21~st century.
