Wind-resistant active control system for building structures by instlling active fin

摘要

A structural response control system by installing active fins is investigated for reducing wind-induced building vibrations.the active fin ssytem is manipulated to control the 'wind forces' acting on the fin according to the structural responses.through wind tunnel tests,aerodynamical wind force effects acting on rotating fins under transitional state are evaluated to relate the wind conditions into the control algorithm.In this aper,very simple and reasonable two-directional control algorithm of the active fin ssytem is proposed and estimated.By using compact two-directional structural model,active control tests are carried out.As a result,it is assured that effective wind-resistant-response control can be operated by using the active fin system.
