Facilitating netscape in a public PC lab for a mobile stident population

rutgers Camden Computing Services needed to simplify the process of utilizing Netscape Mail and Composer in a public lab setting.Students unfamiliar with configuring programs needed to be able access their account as simply as possible from various PCs in multiple labs across the campus.In this paper,I will describe the efforts of an intra-divisional team consiting of pc systems staff,unix systems staff,and user services staff to review the problems encountered by the students utilizing Netscape in a public lab setting and the steps inolved in alleviating these problems in the Rutgers Camden envionment.
