Integrated information system of the archive of macedonia

摘要

In this paper current status in the development of the Integrated Information System which is set up for the needs of the archives of macedonia is presented. For the modeling purposes yourdon's Object Oriented Approach-OOA and the client-server methodology are used. Implementation of the system enabled a modermization in archive work, application of current mass storage media and efficient multi-criteria methods for data search. Distributed computer netwirk consisting of central unit with the local departments and their connection with the creators and holders of archive materials enable an integration of an archives data base. Integral approach to the protection of archive materials is implemented through the structural integration of this system with the security system and the repositories automatic climate control system. The preliminary exploitatio results comply in full with the demands set up in the design project.
