Effects of modeling error on structure damage diagnosis by two-stage optimization

An improved two-stage method for structure damage diagnosis is presented in this paper. In the first stage of damage detection, the diagnosis substructure technique is developed to locate the potentially damaged regions to facilitate the damage extent evaluation in the second stage.
