High speed grinding of silicon nitride with electroplated diamond wheels, l.wear and wheel life

摘要

An investigation is reported on high speed grinding of silicon nitride using electroplated single-layered diamond wheels. The present paper is concerned with wheel wear and wheel life, and a second paper (Hwang et al., in press) with wheel topography and grinding mechanisms.
