摘要

We report the effects of UV light illumination on the performance of SnO_2 semiconductor gas sensors. The samples were prepared with DC sputtering in Ar atmospheres by the R.G.T.O. technique. We have tested the response of these gas sensor to Methane, Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Benzene and Methanol. For all these gases the response is quite good also at room temperature with UV irradiation.
