The acoustic pressure and fluid particle velocity of the acoustic signal and also ambient noise of the ocean can be represented as the sum of regular (random) and sigular (deterministic) constituents. These constituents contain information about both signal and medium and the noise generation mechanisms. An algorithm which allows us to filter these constituents is discussed which allows us to filter these constituents is discussed in the paper. The algorithm uses the results of measurements of acoustic pressure and particle velocity. The suggested algorithm may be applied to any N-component stationary and/or homogeneous fields or processes, if the components are related each other by linear transformation while the random constituents are noncorrelated.
