Transparent/conducting TiO_2-based coatings for space applications

摘要

Highly transparent, slightly conductive thin films of oxygendeficient TiO_2 (TiO_x) may have applications for static charge elimination on spacecraft surfaces such as solar panels. These films are considerably easier to prepare than the co-deposited ITO/insulator materials currently under consideration.
