Pennsylvania's Act 2 Program: Putting it all together, some Act 2 closure case studies

PECO Energy Company has found tremendous value in Pennsylvania's Land Recycling Program, otherwise known as Act 2. We have worked several sites through the entire process and ereceived Act 2 closure letters, and we have several more sites in progress. The Act 2 program provides a reasonable and cost effective process for addressing contaminated properties. However, it can be a complex program and a fair amount of expertise is required of the companies or consultants which are processing the sites.
