Cha-Cha: a model for interactive video on the world wide web

A new model and scripting language for interactive video on the Web have been developed on a java platform. From any widely used browser, the user can interact with clickable movies. Invisible temporal shapes over the image are hyperilinks to other locations within the same movie. This is an extension of the old concept of Imagemaps or of viewing movies statically on the Web. It paves the way for new practical Internet applications such as News-on-the-Fly, multimedial storgage or character tracking.
