This paper presents a robust fuzzy logic-base control scheme for a nonlinear magnetic bearing system that is subject to time delay in feedback loop. A new Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is proposed to represent the nonlinear magnetic bearing. Base on the new fuzzy model, a PDC controller is designed in terms of a proposed delay-dependent stability criterion which guarantees the asymptotic stability of the fuzzy model. The results of simulation verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
