The share of gas heating for residential use in Japan is small,aprticularly in the new housing market mainly because of advancement of electric heat-pump air-conditioner (EHP).Under such cirecumstances,we first evaluated the floor heating system superior to EHP in terms of amenity,confirmed it was the only system that could beat EHP,and then developed a new floor heating system suitable for many kinds of floor structures.We redesigned all parts of the system including a plastic floor heating mat,a new type boiler,an ultra-small electrothermal valve,and a new ocntrol system.After marketing this new system,various requrests had been raised by condominium deveoopers and house builders.To respond to their needs,we have been improving floor heating system continuously.Through these development,we realized 40
