摘要

The use of the ionisation signal as a measurand for the air ratio offers a novel opportunity to control the gas/air ratio of ocmbustion and tus to compensaate varying influences on the combustion process.This paper describes the individual functions and characteristics of a control principle which uses the ionisation probe as an air ratio se4nsor.For this mehtod to be applied,ionisation measuremetn has to be adapted to take account of the specific burner and boiler characteirstics.For modern obilers with laminar premixing burners,the technique described is a particularly cost efficient way of optimisifng ocmbustion and allowing burner control to automatically compensate different gas compositions.
